**RIPPED FROM ENGADGET**

In another open letter to his people, Jobs states that he’s giving all Iphone owners a $100 Apple gift certificate (details to follow in the next week — it goes without saying this will only apply to people who bought before the price drop).

This is why Apple rocks. They’re giving out a $100 gift certificate to everyone who bought the Iphone before the price drop…amazing. It’s nice to see a company that understands the value in early adopters, and tries to please them. Most companies would say “tough” and risk losing those consumers. Welp, that’s why Apple is different, and that’s one reason why those early adopters will continue to purchase Apple products over the competition.

Before you read this, consider yourself warned, I let me inner-nerd shine in this post.

This morning, I beat Final Fantasy XII. What an awesome game, I don’t even know where to begin to talk up this game. All the characters, and I do mean all, played a vital role in the store line. Any of the 6 characters could be swapped out at any given time. There wasn’t any point in the game that *FORCED* you to include/exclude certain characters. On top of that, because of the great storyline, it really made you want to play with a particular character when the plot twisted around them. This really forces the player to level up all the characters equally, and give them all some play-time.

As always, the music was great. It was a little on the repetitive side, however, it was so good I could hardly notice. As always, Eumatsu did a fantastic job of remixing old melodies, such as the Prelude, as well as composing new scores.

Where do I rank this game in the grand scheme of the series? I’m not sure, I’ll have to think about that one. I do know this, the story was great, the game play was great, the music was fantastic, great character development, balanced game play, etc.

Just for fun, here’s some info about my favorite character.

Basch - A loyal knight branded as a traitor

“A captain in the Order of the Knights of Dalmasca, Basch achieved renown as a gallant and brave hero credited with countless victories on the battlefield. He is a man of justice who cannot abide inequity. Unlike the other captains, who are chosen from the aristocracy, Basch is of common blood and enjoys the life of the people.”
